I did it last week at a customer site with 3000 phones. None reset and appeared on 7961 immediately (maybe I did reset that phone can't recall) however I would remember had 3000 phones reset.

It most definitely should not, but all third-gen phones will need to be reset before they will see the new service.

I see.

Will it reset all of the phones in the cluster when I check that box?

Thanks,

Tim

When you crdeate the service I recall there is a checkmark for Enterprise which makes it on all phones.

Is there a setting in CUCM 7 to enable a new service on all phones?

I have a directory setup for a different cluster, but I can’t figure out how to enable the service on all phones by default without having to use the BAT tool.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,

Tim
