Extension shouldn't be have to be unique, at least I know it doesn't have to be when you're AD integrated.

But you can check by running something like this:
run sql select userid from enduser where telephonenumber like  '%0624'

Telephone number in Corporate Directory as entered in End Users.  Seems this guy's number is already in there I suspect by the error 4052.

Extension of what?  The phone associated to the user? Or the telephone number in the directory?

Have several thousand End Users and need to search by Extension. Is there a CLI query I could run?

Attempting to add a user ID results in a "add failed" 4052 error, I'm guessing his extension is already in there under another user's userid ?
