It's documented in the Unity installation guides which I recommend following step by step.

A typical Cisco case :)

With no reason the installation worked on I4 but not working on I3...what in the below steps relates to the server hardware!!!!
And we are supposed to solve these issues!!!!
Can you please ask the case engineer If the below is documented in any external or internal Cisco document???

Thanks all, the problem was solved after involving the TAC engineer who did the following:

 * First thing is to restart after u receive the error message before continuing the installation.
 * He installed SQL instead of MSDE although there are 32 voice ports (for which MSDE should be used as per the installation guide) also he mentioned that SQL can replace MSDE for any number of ports and it's better specially regarding the case when the data base size become large (MSDE has issues in this regard).
 * He changed the installation folder from C drive to D drive.
 * He chooses "per processor" as the type of license during the SQL installation and set the number of processors to 4.
 * Then he installed the SQL-SP4 manually from the path CD:\SQL200_SP4\x86\setup then setupsql.exe from the service packs DVD.
 * After this I continued the installation normally using the CUSPA.

By default, C drive is formatted with how much GB of space? I doubt a default installation comes with only 4gb left.

I have a VM with 20gb hdd installed. It takes up only near 6gb in C drive with unity and lotus notes client installed.

My dear, I already used the Cisco platform configuration CD which prepares the partitions and RAID things automatically according to Cisco standard, also the data store which gives this error is being installed in C not D, and the C drive is accessible and has 4 GB free space.

Dumb question...Is the D: drive formatted? What happens when you go to My Computer and double-click on D:?

The D drive has a large free space also, and I'm still in the data store installation and didn't reach the message store installation yet.

Dear All,
I'm trying to install Unity 7.0(2) on MCS-7825-I3-ESC1 server, I'm installing windows 2003 normally from the platform configuration CD then the windows SP2 normally, but when trying to install the data store I receive the error saying "setup could not find a drive with 16449 KB free disk space to install the program. Please free up some space first and press RETRY or press CANCEL to exit setup" as per the attached photo, although the C drive has 4 GB free space.
Can anybody please advise in this regard ?
