[cisco-voip] FXO Port and Caller ID

For older version you could use H323...make a test call and try "debug
vpm signal" to show you if the telecom is sending CLID or not....also
you could try the line separately with an analog set that support CLID
first.

Caller-ID was added on MGCP FXO ports in 8.0 with IOS 15.0/1 I believe.

AFAIK, it needs to be an VIC2 card to do callerid.

My understanding is this is available with CCM 7.x   and a certain IOS
level (which escapes me) on the router

the inbound caller ID phone number if the phone company is indeed
sending it?
