[cisco-voip] connecting FXO Port to ADSL Line

The splitter is mainly to filter the voice signaling "3.4 KHZ" from the
ADSL line and cut all frequencies above 4 KHZ to be sent to the analog
phone "FXO for your case" so the splitter should be working okay...try
to change the splitter maybe it is a poor one...I tried it before and it
was working okay with me.
One note that you may miss...do your router hosting the FXO port has a
good ground "earth" connection?? Improper "earthing" for the analog
voice gateways results in a very high level of noise on the call.

Thanks Zoltan for your reply,
I connected the FXO to the output Phone Line of the splitter and it
didn't work (send or Receive), now I'll connect the line directly to the
FXO and also connect it to splitter for Internet and see.
I may need filter before FXO Port to clear the noise, right?

ADSL is usually carried over a normal copper pair (FXO line), but if you
want to use that wire for voice as well, you might need a filter in
front of your FXO port.
Around here the phone company usually supplies one with the ADSL
modem/router.
