I think I am so lucky. It worked in the first time without any problem. From
the day I brought the firewall and connected between the ATA and PRI I am
having the problem. If I by pass the firewall it is working fine. So
guessing the Firewall issue. Or am I doing some thing wrong

I think you will struggle to get that to work I'm afraid, the ATA does not
officially support modem connectivity, and even Fax connections have
restrictions:
"ATA 186 is not supported for analog modem calls. The modem referred to
throughout the documentation implies fax modem"

Dear All,
I have cisco ATA box connected in the lan and a credit card machine is
connected to it. We have a check point between lan and the server farm. We
have opened the required ports for the ATA to work. But when we dial
through the credit card machine it says connecting and then it times out. Do
we have to open any ports for the Credit card machine to work?
