[cisco-voip] Switch port configs

The above is the old configuration which was the only supported with
some old switches "I saw it on 3524 switches"...now you can use the
access method normally no need to configure the port as trunk, also
trunks has some limitations in large environment so avoid using it for
all phones.

is there anything wrong with having your switch ports configured as
follows?

 

 switchport trunk encapsulation dot1q

 switchport trunk native vlan 14

 switchport mode trunk

 switchport voice vlan 146

 

Normally I would have them set like:

 

switchport access vlan 14

switchport voice vlan 146

 

These are 3560's running 12.2 code.
