I think you're looking for the security password which you should be able to reset from the recovery CD.

New buildout 8.0(2c), on first subscriber I’m getting a connectivity test failed.  Since I can ping the pub and ssh to the pub I’m assuming the problem is a typo in the database security password, so figured I would try to reset it.
