[cisco-voip] What is the best way to partially register phones with UCM?

If the extension are not overlapping, just BAT the phones and plug them in as needed. Depending on your version and config, people calling these DNs will likely get a busy signal if not registered or be sent to their voicemail box. 

If the extensions are overlapping, then BAT them into a different partition. You can then use BAT to bring them back into the correct partition or move them over one at a time.

To the UCM experts: 

I need to deploy some new phones with my existing UCM. I want to do this ahead of time and would like to deploy during the cutover time. What would be the best way to do this? 

I would appreciate your input.
