Yes just configure the dial-rules the way you wish it to manipulate the
call, then you need to run a cop file to have changes take affect.

My personal opinion: try to avoid using application dial-rules as much
as you can I hate it "be aware that it will affect SNR operation as the
RD will be affected by the new dial-rules"

You can find a reference for it in CUCIMOC install guide below:

at/guide/config_servers.html#wp1054388

Subject: [cisco-voip] Directory Dail Rules

OK--

So we had CM 7.1 setup to use it's own directory. Now we are LDAP
sync'd and the phone numbers are e.164. How do I setup the directory
dial rules to strip the first 6 digits?

I believe I need to go to the call routing --> dial rules -- > setup the
rule to match and strip. What do I do next? upload the dialrule cop
file?

I can't find the doc's on it.

TIA

Scott
