[cisco-voip] CCM 7 = transcoding

Only use universal transcoders if you have DSPs to burn, universal
transcoding required double the DSP resources of a standard transcoder
since we have to assume complex to complex transcoding so we don't
oversubscribe the DSPs.

PVDM3's support universal Transcoding. You enable this by:

Dspfarm profile X transcode universal

Codecs x

Max sessions X (halved due to universal)

Associate application sccp

  All,
I am trying to configure transcoding and conferencing for the new pvdm3
and i have cisco call manager 7.2.
I have been searching cco and am not turning up example config or
anything.
Has anyone else done this yet and could you provide me any links to the
call manager part of the config?

THanks
