[cisco-voip] 6941 Phone timezone and firmware

If you're using a timezone marked with that special character, it's not compatable with leagacy firmwares, which is anything before 9.  That could be the problem with your 6900s?

If you're running 8.X firmware you upgrade to the unsigned 9x firmware.  Once you're at 9.x you upgrade to the singned firmware.
The load name is "SCCP69xx.9-0-3-0-uns" to go to 9.0.3.  The only trouble i have had getting firmware onto the 6900s is across a WAN.  They don't do peer firmware sharing or support load-server, and they don't seem to like latency over 100ms RT or so.

Dear all;

I have a wired problem with 6941 phones…they have just changed their time an hour for daylight saving a week before the actual time change…do CUCM have a way to see the actual dates for each time zone that is configured to change the clock within?

Also I was trying to upgrade their firmware from 8.5.4 to any 9 version “signed or unsigned” with no luck always fails.

Any ideas?
