So I'm using and have tested SCCP42.8-3-5S on SRST v4.1(0) and it showed an ephone of SCCP v15, so I think I'm safe there.
On another SRST v4.0(2) box, I tested P00308010200 (7940/60) and it showed up as ephone of SCCP v11, so I think I'm safe there.
On the same v4.0(2) box, I registered a 7911 w/ SCCP11.8-5-2S and it came up as SCCP v17, so I downgraded the phone to SCCP11.8-2-2SR2S and now it's registering to SRST as SCCP v9, so I think I'm safe there.
Comments?
Oh, by the way, I think I found the WORST MAC ever: FCFB.FBCB.FBAC - Say that three times fast.

Subject: SRST pre-8.x 'safe' firmware versions
I know that the latest firmware for 7911/42/62 uses SCCP v17(?) which caused issues with SRST versions prior to 8.5.
We're planning for an upgrade and I don't want these phones without SRST capabilities in the event something goes down before the upgrade is complete, so we'll be performing the final upgrade for a few hundred phones the on the day of the upgrade. However, I'd like to perform the interim upgrade before hand.
Anyone see any problem running SCCP42.8-3-5S on SRST v 4.0(2) + 4.1(0) ???
I'm going to test, but just wanted to see what people thought.
Lelio
