[cisco-voip] Presence with overlapping extensions

What about using CUPC?

I will give an example

User A site X Extension 8000

User B site Y Extension 8000

User C site Z Extension 6000

User C calls A and B using different access code "say 1 for site X and 2 for
site Y".this is fine from IP Phone and CUCM; but when adding A and B as
contacts in CUPC the user is configured in AD with his extension direct not
with the access code, so you will have two contacts with the same number
"without access code" you won't be able to call any of them using CUPC.

If I added the users in AD with their site prefixes, I will then have
another problem.users in the same site won't be able to call each other as
they call each other directly without access code.

Any nice solution to the above?

Hi Ahmed,

yes did that - works ! BLF is configured at the line Appearance for the user
device - no problem here, important is that the usernames are unique!
