[cisco-voip] Delayed Audio

I would guess it's either a phone load problem or gateway IOS bug. I would put a new test load on a few handsets first, since it's pretty easy to do and least impacting. Does it happen on more than one model phone, etc? IP Communicator? Different subnets, etc?

Something to do with your RTP audio from gateway to handset....you could Wireshark it from back of phone to see if the RTP packets are delayed from gateway...tried putting a phone on same vlan as gateway?

Subject: [cisco-voip] Delayed Audio

I'm running into an issue where it take a couple of seconds for external parties dialing into my CUCM 7.02 system to hear audio from the Cisco phones.

External party calls -> internal party answers and says hello a couple of times before the external party hears the internal party talking.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Tim
