[cisco-voip] CUCM UserID options

When you first enable the directory sync you pick the fields used. It's not set per sync agreement, but at the higher level.

Unfortunately this means to change it you have to completely disable dirsync and recreate everything.

tell the customer to fill out the ipPhone field and then use that to synchronize.

Hi Guys,

I saw a question similar to this somewhere, I just can’t find it.

I have a customer who wants to import his LDAP accounts into CUCM7.1 Business
Edition using their extension number as the UserID but can’t use the Telephone
Number field of the AD account.

Is it possible to do this via another field?? Is this what LDAP filtering gives

you in V8??

Thanks,
Neil

Kind regards
