[cisco-voip] ISDN Q931 - Quality of Service not available ?

Hi,

Yes the phone I'm trying to reach is dn 64 .

If I change the gateway from h323 to a SiP Trunk with the same Inbound CSS it works like a charm!

Right now it is running via SIP, just wanted to know why it is not working via H323

Brgds

Perhaps also the inbound CSS on the H323 gateway.

Plus the Called Party number is "64". Kind of odd, but do you an a DN equal to 64 that exists in a partition reachable by the inbound CSS of the gateway?

Cause i = 0x80B1

The origination code of 80 means that the gateway is rejecting the call. I suspect it is trying to hit the CUCM and CUCM is rejecting it because of the point above and not able to route to "64".

Cheers

Dana

"Cause 49 / Code B1: Quality of Service not available"

you may be running into a bit of interesting translation here. CM can return code 49 for codec mismatch or transcoder allocation failure.

alternatively it looks like this is the code that is used when RSVP reservation is required but fails.

Regards,

Wes
