On UC appliance servers you cannot edit the hosts file (unless it's an old one that drops you to root access).

I disabled the DNS Client during install, I want to add some Trunks (CVP) that use DNS SRV, can I edit the hosts file to add my CVP servers?

Or do I need to turn the DNS client back on (can’t recall what the CLI entry), add the DNS entries to the corporate DNS servers, etc?
