[cisco-voip] can't get Unity Connection 7.1.3ES11 to register to CUCM v7.1.5b(SU2)

On the IP address change question; I don't recall having to do that but it
certainly seems you should be able to. As I recall (again, I don't have one
in front of me) there is also an advanced port group settings under "Edit"
maybe?
On your registration issue, no chance one side is set to secure and the
other is not? The reason I ask is I have seen DMA come up with some weird
results based on what it should have been.
