I did a lot of work in that issue and the result is the same as yours
"translation for each RD, not scalable" or a global number for SNR "not
desired".

Subject: [cisco-voip] Mobile Connect / Single Number Reach Outbound Calling
Number

Hi All,

I would like to get peoples opinions on this.

I 've got mobile connect setup and working what I want to be able to do is
change the calling id for the call that is placed to the remote destination.

Example

Internal Phone 4567

Remote Destination 7898

External Phone 1234

1.	1234 places a call to 4567
2.	Call is placed to 7898
3.	Remote destination 7898 rings with the calling id of 1234

What I want to happen is

1.	1234 places a call to 4567
2.	Call is placed to 7898
3.	Remote destination 7898 rings with the calling id of 4567

I have got this to work by creating individual transformation patterns where
I just change the calling id to what I want but that doesn't scale at all.

Does anyone know a way to get this to work so that the call uses the
external phone number mask of the phone that is making the call the number
associated to the RDP etc...

One solution would be to use transformation patterns or route list and make
all calls come out as one number which we could set aside as the SNR number,
but then the problem is who is going to pay for these outbound calls from
that one number.

cheers,

Dan
