Cooking with unix is easy. You just sed it and forget it.

You will want to place any unused media resources into an "unused MRG" or they will be used as a last resort, sorta like the Null Partition in a CSS. Placing them in an MRG and leaving it out of the MRGL will prevent this.

I am currently installing a cluster with 11 nodes (8 subscriber, 2TFTP and 1 Pub)
Now, i haven't activated any services, but in CM Unifed CM i see all servers configured. I thought the CMs are only (auto-)configured as soon as i start CCM-service?
Also, i have now 11 MOH-servers, 11 CFB and 11 MTP-server although i haven't activated any Media Service on the nodes?
Can i delete the CMs, MOH, CFB, and MTP servers that i dont want to use or should the be kept in the datebase?
Any problems with TAC-support when 11 CMs are configured, but only 8 are used?
Thanks in advance.
PG
