You need to be on 6.1(5) to get CM8.0 working - iPod touch are not supported devices for 8.0
Consumes 4 DLUs or 1 in adjunct mode.
The data sheet is best place to start;

8.1 also has the added feature of background operation/multitasking support.
It's a neat product, I've had great feedback about it from our trials.
The LDAP/Corp directory and shared line works great, never tested the visual voicemail or GSM handoff functions.
I think the ldap photo location attribute is road-mapped for future versions last I read up about it (the field is in UCM).

Subject: [cisco-voip] Cisco Mobile 8 and Call Manager 6.1
Can these work together? We are looking at using iPod's as mobile devices for our Service techs and was hoping to be able to connect them to the Call Manager so that they can become a truly mobile device. Has anyone done this, and would you be able to share your process with me or direct me to documentation that explains the process clearly?
Thanks
Terry
