What steps did you do to get it to work with unity 7? I am trying to get it to work on outlook 2007 (docs say it will) All vmo 8.5.4 options on my install just have connection 8.5 in drop down, and I tried credentials various ways and no dice. I can connect imap to exchange server fine in outlook itself but when try to enter that info into viewmail 8.5.4 setup it saids can not connect. Is there suppose to be a unity server in the server type drop down or just connection 8.5? I haven't got a answer from cisco on that yet.
I also can get vmo 8.04 to work fine and did 8.5.4 autoupgrade and same issue with 8.5.4, just a connection 8.5 option as server type.
Can you send screenshot of your viewmail settings tab?
I'm only working with this because I happened to have customer who uses viewmail heavily still upgrade this past month and was having troubles.
Thanks

However it was made clear to me that Cisco ViewMail for Outlook will not have feature parity with Unity VMO and I got the impression that Unity VMO will not be further developed. The feature disparity is vast and disappointing if you used all Unity VMO has/had to offer.

There is a 8.0(4) version that fixes an issue with playback over the phone and PC speaker if you have that issue, but you'll need to get that from TAC.

My installation of Unity no longer cooperates with the ViewMail client and after hours of trying to fix it I've simply given up. I can't afford SmartNet on Unity anyway, so I've switched to using MS Exchange as my voicemail solution.

ViewMail allowed me to click a mouse button to record an outgoing voice message and then select multiple recipients from my Global Address List. Without ViewMail I have to painstakingly navigate through an IVR / auto-attendant to accomplish the same task.
