Yeah, I read that too.  I contacted TAC yesterday about it and he didn't offer such a solution.  This is from the bug details:

Workaround:
Contact TAC and provide remote access. If remote access is not available then there is no workaround on the current version. Workaround and fix is to upgrade to a version that contains fix for this issue.

And here was his response:

This is a known issue and is addressed in the defect below:

This will be fixed in the following versions 8.6(0.98000.11) and 8.6(0.98000.32).

So I guess the way I understand it is that TAC could apply an update in 8.6 or a download link.  The workaround is confusing.  I'll ask TAC about it directly and let you know what I find out.

Bug notes say tac can reenable with remote access, is that correct?
DNA is not a deal breaker but I've got BE customers who want UM and thus 8.5 and would rather have it available than not for troubleshooting, etc.

Went to check out some DNA action and it looks like it's gone.  Checked release notes and there is no mention.  Opening up a TAC case to confirm...

CUCMBE 8.0 Server with working DNA, upgraded it to 8.5.  I still have the link for DNA, but it returns a 404.  Fresh 8.5 installs, no way to enable it that I can see.
