Not sure what you’re running but be aware that ATA187 is only compatible with very recent versions of CUCM. According to its data sheet anyway.

Subject: [cisco-voip] cisco 187 SIP protocol

Just wondering if anyone has used the Cisco 187 SIP protocol ATA. We have an ATA 186 out in the field (might even be a 188) that worries me for a few reasons. We don't have a spare and if I screw up the firmware update they won't have service.

I'm thinking of replacing it with a 187 but I've never had a SIP device on our voice network. I'm guessing it uses different ports for talking so some changes to the ACLs are necessary.

Anything else?

Lelio
