Last time I checked the 7816 did not support RAID. Put all the drives in you want.

>From what I recall, when the software was installed, it configured the RAID based on the existing drive set up. If there was no second drive, RAID was not configured in the mirroring state. This was Windows. We had to reinstall after inserting the second drive.

Just plugin the hard disk. The raid will take care.

I have MCS server with one hard disk with CUCM installed on it
 
I want to buy another Hard disk to work as backup for the first one
 
How  can install his HD as backup ...???
