OK - thanks. I understand totally how saving a step can improve efficacy in a procedure.
I really wish someone out there would sell a AXL based user defined system. That way, you quickly (and I mean quickly) design a page that has a button that says "assign CCMuser ID" and it prompts you for only what you need, i.e. userID and MAC address, and everything else is done behind the scenes, i.e. assigning CCMuser rights.

yes. It is usually the step that we forget, until the user calls and says they can't get to ccmuser.

I'm curious Scott... are you just trying to save a step? I mean, you have to assign the phone to the user so you're going to be in user config screen anyways. Just wondering...

could you give me the command you run? I have solarwinds and could do this.
Thanks

Was Kiwi Cat Tools and I believe Solarwinds has it now. It allows for running commands on Cisco cli devices in a batch process or scheduled. My results are fairly consistent on Cucm and unity connection.
