I'm not sure there is a definite time for this to happen. There are suggestions that it has to do with lease time, but I'm not sure how that is possible, especially if you DHCP server is external to the cluster. If you restart your servers and/or one of the affected services that cause the phones to all re-register, this will definitely move them from unregistered to unknown.

Does anyone know how long it takes a phone that has been disconnected from CUCM to change from an unregistered status to an unknown status?
Anyway to see how long a phone has been in either state?

Thanks
Mark
