I haven't been able to get this to work, and I'm certain it isn't supported since CUPC has softphone feature. I do understand why someone would want to use CIPC over CUPC softphone or WebEx phone client.

Is it supported to run Cisco Unified Presence Client and IP Communicator on same PC at same time and expect CUPC to control IP Communicator?

I'm 99% certain this is not a supported scenario.
