Thanks Lelio, very much appreciated. We have a bit of a complicated set up here (using blocking CSS's etc.) but I'm sure I'll be able to work it out now you've show me the signpost.

Rusty,
The easiest way to do this is to add another line to the phone with the DN you wish to appear on called party displays. Not scalable by any means, but it might get you over a short term hurdle.
The other option is to use translation patterns. You can make this solution as complex or as simple as you want.
For example, if you want every call this phone makes to be masked with a different extension, create a translation pattern XXXXX and fill out the calling party transformation fields appropriately.
If you only want this for a few calls, then create specific translation patterns for those outbound numbers you want to affect.
If you do this, you'll have to create a special CSS which finds the translation patterns, then assign the translation pattern the original CSS of the phone. And you'll likely need a number of these if you have multiple CSS assigned to phones in order to control access.
You can also use special codes to invoke the translation pattern, say *44XXXXX so that way the user has to enter the code in order for the call to be masked.
The long and short of it is translations will do what you want. You'll have to create partitions and search spaces in order to allow access to them.
HTH,
Lelio

Subject: [cisco-voip] Calling Line translation
Hi,
I have a phone on CUCM 8 which I want to be able to dial another phone, but I want the Called Party to see the call coming from a number which isn;t the calling party number.
i.e. A = 11111 B=22222
A calls B, and B sees the call as coming from 33333
What is the simplest way of doing this?
Sorry it is so basic, but I'm rusty. Very rusty.
Thanks
