That’s the way I’ve done it. Been a while though.... Doubt it’s the best way, but it’s the way I thought of and it did the job.

Subject: [cisco-voip] How do you calculate number of PRIs/Channels?

Hello all,

I'm trying to get my head around how to get the BHT value the Erlang B calculator needs and I'm hoping someone can help. Anyone willing to share what tools they use to get this information? If you can provide specific steps, that would be great (mouse clicks can be omitted ;).

The only way I can think of getting this information right now is running a traffic summary report by hour of day and un-checking on-net and internal so I get only off-net calls. This gives me a BHCC (busy hour call completion) value. From there, I'll have to average out the length of calls that occurred during that time frame and that should give me what I need.

What do you guys think?
