[cisco-voip] Upgrade from CUCM 8.5 to 8.6

I faced a lot of bugs with 8.5, a major one affects Tomcat service and
others.I had to upgrade.

What was the specific issue that required you to go to 8.6 on CUCM? You need
8.6 on the CUEAC side.

I am about to embark on this upgrade just so CUEAC can work on c210M2
server.

 

I have had collegues follow this and fail, some have given up. You said this
work. I will try it.

Thanks for the update. To upgrade from CUCM 8.0.and 8.5 to 8.6 you need to
install a COP file to do the upgrade:

"Caution  For both restricted and unrestricted upgrades from an 8.5(x) or
earlier release to an 8.6(x) release, this patch (COP file) must be applied
prior to initiating the upgrade. Before you upgrade from compatible versions
of Unified CM, install the COP file named
ciscocm.refresh_upgrade_v1.0.cop.sgn that you can find under:
