TAC's response thus far is:

Escalating with BU.

BU tells TAC: I need more logs!

I'm getting no logs so I tell TAC: I need help with getting you more logs!

...and that's where I'm at right now. TAC is leaning towards UPN as being a problem but isn't sure at this point.
