[cisco-voip] Maximum LDAP Sync Agreements CUCM

Erich,

Your options for the environment you describe are (generally) ADAM / LDS
(or other LDAP middleware) to pull out the domains and flatten them into
an LDAP Database, or flattening the AD Environment itself. This is a
battle that's been fought since CM version 5.x and I don't think Cisco
will change this any time soon (if ever).

I think the rationale is that if the user count justifies a single CUCM
cluster, then it should probably have a flatter AD Environment (use of
OU's for organization / differentiation rather than domains). At the same
time, if it is large enough to justify an elaborate structure of parent /
child / federated domains and forests, it probably warrants multiple UC
clusters as well. That's my theory on the rationale at least.
