"Polycom" has always been my favorite for both Analong and IP Conf-room sets with remote microphones.
Recommend!

Subject: [cisco-voip] IP Enabled conference and meeting room microphones and A/V systems
Hello Everybody,
I'm currently researching IP/ethernet based A/V systems for medium to large classrooms and auditoriums. I wanted to reach out to the list and ask for advice from anyone with a system like this or with experience with such a system.
The basic goal is to wire up a large-ish classroom so that people can call into a class/meeting that is in session in that room. ...Or so that that room can call out and join a conference call. The intention is for participants to be able to hear all questions as they're asked and answered, without me having to stand on one side of the room while trying to yell in the general direction of a 7940's speaker phone =)
What vendor and model do you use?
Are there particular bits of functionality do you really like/hate with your system?
Would you recommend said system to a friend?
Go!
Anything Would help,
Peter Slow
...
