[cisco-voip] 7960 strange DND behavior

Hello everyone,

Cisco 7960 IP Phone with firmware version* *8.0(9.0). The problem I am
experiencing is, When the phone is in DND mode and an incoming call is
answered by lifting the handset, there is a very loud noise generated for a
few seconds and it can be heard by the calling party as well. But if the
call is answered by pressing the speaker button or the DND mode is turned
off, there is no noise. Is this normal behavior associated with DND? or is
this a hardware problem?
