ccx compatibility matrix says:
Except where specifically noted otherwise, Cisco Unified CCX supports all service releases for compatible component versions. You are required to upgrade to the qualified Cisco Unified CM and service releases only. All Cisco Unified CM – Engineering Specials are also supported. You should run the latest available Service Releases for Cisco Unified CCX.
Which I read as "since I don't see ccm 9.1.1 listed anywhere on the document, no version of ccx has been verified by cisco to be compatible and thus supported." I don't doubt that 9.1.1 would work it's just that if there are any problems with ccx 9.0.1 running with it, TAC will likely say "unsupported" and leaving you holding the bag.

CUCM and UCCx are supposed to have N-1 compatibility, you're telling me the compatibility charts don't list this?

>Regarding 9.0 we have never posted a .0 release to cisco.com for download because of the fact that you need a new license to run the new major version and the only way to get the license is to order the upgrade. By putting the upgrade out there we'd get a bunch of people who upgrade and then complain that they don't have the license. With 9.1 the file will get posted because customers already on 9.0 can upgrade without having to get a new license.
