[cisco-voip] CME with CUCM.. is that possible ?

Currently you can have your choice of SRST or CME on the remote gateway working with CUCM for your failover call processing. I personally have not used SRST as the failover since using CME became an option. Much more robust functionality.

Subject: [cisco-voip] CME with CUCM.. is that possible ?

Hi Folks,

We have a small remote infrastructure with a dozen of SIP phones with a 2811 gateway.
They are connected to a central CUCM in the company HQ.

The problem is when the remote link goes down, all the 12 remote phones cannot make calls between them.

I was wondering if I could install CME into the remote 2811 gateway and integrate it with our central CUCM.

Thanks in advance,
