[cisco-voip] spectralink phones?

I don't think they are rebranded. The 7925 is SCCP only (from my v7.1 admin pages) and the current Polycom SpectraLinks are SIP (http://www.polycom.com/products/voice/wireless_solutions/wifi_communications/handsets/spectralink_8400_wireless.html).

Previous to that, SpectraLink phones were proprietary (I think they still have proprietary solutions).

Not sure if that helps.

Subject: [cisco-voip] spectralink phones?

So i'm working on deploying cisco wireless and I'm reading through and see a bunch of stuff related to spectralink phones. So I do a little google search and find these phones that look just like a 7925. So is the 7925 just a rebranded spectralink? Can you just buy spectralink instead of the cisco 7925? does anyone have any experience with this?

TIA

Scott
