Can you be more specific? Does the audio from the remote site just sound bad or is it choppy (i.e. the voice is cutting in/out)?

If you have several sites which sound poor at the HQ site, maybe check the inbound bandwidth use at the HQ. I suggest this because you say the remote end can hear the HQ just fine.

Subject: [cisco-voip] Poor Receiving Audio on 69xx, CUCM 8.5.1

Hi all,
in a CUCM 8.5 i have several 69xx and 79xx at a remote site.
The HQ has a cluster of 2 CUCMs 8.5.1
There is 30ms RTT between HQ and remote site and data packet loss.
Though, all 69xx at the remote site have very poor audio either with
g711, g729 or iLBC!!
The other end at the remote site hears fine with no disruptions.
All 7911, and 7961 at the remote site have very good reception of g729
or g711.
Could the 69XX be such a bad product?

BTW, they run the latest firmware.

BR
Anthony
