My company engineered a product for the Harris console to do this. They may also have one for the Zetron--I know they explored it.

Subject: [cisco-voip] Cisco 7975 hook-switch contact closure
Hello,
I am trying to integrate a Cisco 7975 handset to a external dispatching system. The dispatching system requires an off-hook contact closure point in order to enable audio to flow from the phone's headset port to the operator's headset.
With the switch open, the headset plays audio from a radio system. With the switch closed, the headset plays audio from the Cisco phone. It would be nice to automate this switch to the phones on-hook/off-hook status
Has anyone faced a situation like this and come up with any clever ideas?
Scott
