[cisco-voip] End of Cius?

I'm sure some geek out there (one of us) will figure out how to hack it and cook their own ICS firmware for it. I find it hard to believe that none of the Cius development team didn't already do it...

I thought that sounded fishy..., that's quite an upgrade for something that was just announced to be being no longer developed for...

Cius 9.2(4) does not include an ICS upgrade.

I did see a related review that Cisco is commited to shipping 9.2.4, which upgrades the Cius to Andriod 4.0

It's more like no one wants a Cius - application compatibility is
limited because of the different processor used, plus the hardware
specs are nothing to get excited about anymore, or even when it was
first released. Then you also have to hook them up to a Call Manager
cluster running pretty recent code to get the full functionality.

I'm not sure I'd even want them then. I have a Cius currently and I
just asked my boss to buy me a new Android tablet...
