The entire Setup is missing, which is where the bearer cap that they are sending you would be displayed.

Your debug doesn’t seem to indicate an inbound DNIS from your carrier. Can you get the carrier to trap the call on their end and tell you what they are sending you?

Subject: [cisco-voip] Fax receiving issue

CUCM=6.1.2.1
Router is 2851 with IOS c2800nm-adventerprisek9-mz.124-24.T4

We have several DID numbers on a PRI that point to our Esker Fax software via CUCM (Trunk). This has all been working fine for a very long time.

Today, or sometime over the weekend, something changed (not on our end) and now any sending faxes get a fast busy when calling any of our fax DID numbers.

ISDN q931 debug shows =

*Oct  9 18:33:32.851: ISDN Se0/1/0:23 Q931: TX -> CALL_PROC pd = 8  callref = 0x8001
        Channel ID i = 0xA98381
                Exclusive, Channel 1
*Oct  9 18:33:32.855: ISDN Se0/1/0:23 Q931: TX -> ALERTING pd = 8  callref = 0x8001
        Progress Ind i = 0x8088 - In-band info or appropriate now available
*Oct  9 18:33:33.091: ISDN Se0/1/0:23 Q931: TX -> CONNECT pd = 8  callref = 0x8001
        Display i = 'FAX'
*Oct  9 18:33:33.123: ISDN Se0/1/0:23 Q931: RX <- CONNECT_ACK pd = 8  callref = 0x0001
*Oct  9 18:33:33.903: ISDN Se0/1/0:23 Q931: TX -> DISCONNECT pd = 8  callref = 0x8001
        Cause i = 0x80C1 - Bearer capability not implemented
*Oct  9 18:33:33.939: ISDN Se0/1/0:23 Q931: RX <- RELEASE pd = 8  callref = 0x0001
        Cause i = 0x82C1 - Bearer capability not implemented
*Oct  9 18:33:34.067: ISDN Se0/1/0:23 Q931: TX -> RELEASE_COMP pd = 8  callref = 0x8001

Since the call never connects, there are no fax relay t30 debugs to show.

The PRI provider wants to know what we changed, and we changed nothing. Something on their end must have been changed, but I do now know what direction to send them in.

I appreciate any input

Bob
