TON?
It works for 99% of UK Numbers as far as I can tell, just a sub set from one exchange seems to be being strange…

Perhaps ToN is required and you haven't configured that on the RL/RP?

Subject: [cisco-voip] Very odd call routing issue.
CCM 7.x
2811 Voice gateway.
A few weeks ago a member of staff alerted me to the fact that they could not call a supplier, I checked the number and sure enough the phone system dialled and we got a recorded message from the carrier ( BT UK ) of number not recognised.
After a bunch of tests with our line provider we could not find a fault with their call routing ( at least so far )
What I have noticed is something that seems very bazar
With no special routing implemented on the call manager the voice gateway tries to dial and gets the number not recognised. The output of “show voice call” shows the following with the correct number.
==============================================================
0/0/0:15 13
vtsp level 0 state = S_SETUP_PROGRESS
callid 0xBAEE B13 state S_TSP_OUTCALL_PROG clld 01768776000 cllg 6563
==============================================================
If I add a CCM route pattern for 901768776000, the line rings and the progress display shows the correct number.
==============================================================
0/0/0:15 13
vtsp level 0 state = S_SETUP_REQ_PROC
callid 0xBAEE B13 state S_TSP_OUTCALL_PROG clld 01768776000 cllg 6563
============================================================
in both instances “Show Call” show the right number , but one fails?
This is driving me crazy, anybody have any bright ideas other than sticking in a route pattern for the whole number set?
