[cisco-voip] Intercluster Trunks VS SIP Trunk

I'm pretty sure Cisco recommends SIP over H.323 for intercluster trunks since CM 8.x. You shouldn't need any special configuration for it. I'd keep an eye on MTP use in RTMT though to make sure they're not being unintentionally allocated.

Hmm I would think SIP would be ideal but I think you have to configure the SIP dial plan in CUCM. I think it's in Call Routing.

I have two clusters running 8.6 tied together with Intercluster trunks and I am seeing some strange thing when going from SIP to H323 an back to SIP.

Has anyone done SIP as a trunk between two clusters? Were there any I should look out for? Thanks
