Make sure you use UCT 2 for CM 9.1. and don't migrate to CM 9.0 licenses, you get to do them again with 9.1.

It's particularly useful when seeing how your DLUs will map when you migrate to CUCM 9 where we added the handy feature of seeing exactly how the licenses you purchase are used, down to what user/device on what cluster is consuming what level of license.

Hey Mike.

Try downloading the user count tool (UCTZIP-Ver1.0.zip) from CCO. It connects to your publisher and then builds a report as to how many users you would need either in UCL or CUWL modes. It also lists the number of DLUs used by each user license.

It's really the only spot I've seen this.

I know that 8.6 doesn't officially use DLU licenses anymore... but it does. I'm trying to figure out an apparent discrepancy between the licensing I think I've paid for, and the license files that I have installed. Need some help sorting out my numbers before I contact Cisco.

If I license a UCSS user, how many DLUs am I supposed to receive in the resulting lic file?

If I license a UCSS "essential" user, how many DLUs am I supposed to receive in the resulting lic file?
