I second Xmedius. Great product. Dialogic hasn't updated their software in years. No bug fixes. Only Mon-Firiday 9am-5pm support on the SR140.

one great pro for Xmedius is that they take care of everything from layer 2 and up. Right fax farms out the layer 2 and 3 stuff out to dialogic.
I personally liked the email integration better on xmedius.
But the number 1 reason I like Xmedius, is support. Xmedius supports there stuff very well. you call them and get some guy in Canada who knows there product. RightFax, they count on the VAR's to support it. We have had nothing but back luck with Right Fax support directly. One person will tell you one thing and then the next something else.
YMMV

Hi, Scott,
Since you have used both could you provide some pros or cons about each?
Thank you, Tom

Why the need to run it through a SBC?
If I were in the market for a Fax server I would hands down go with Xmedius. I used it at my previous employer and loved it. we currently have Right Fax at my current employer. It's good as well, but I much prefer Xmedius.
YMMV

Our shop is basically an end to end Cisco Voice\data network. We have been asked to look into a solution which would allow subscribers to receive faxes in their Cisco Unity Connection 8.6 subscriber accounts. We know about the fax server solution from Cisco Unity but we would also like to know if there is another option that will work with ACME SBC SIP.
Thank you,
Tom
