Unlike with CUCM, Unity subscribers back themselves up. There is a bug where the subscriber tries to register with the CUCX publisher. We had this happen to us: TAC had to fix something as root so that the subscriber could be properly backed up.

My unity publisher is having issues talking to the subscriber when it comes to backup. Backup works fine on the publisher end but the subscriber does not, and I am not able to configure the backup device for the sub; it is gray out. Has any seen this kind of issue before? Thank you,

Leonard
