Yeah I know about show power inline. I am trying no not have to shell in to a couple hundred switches to get status on thousands of phones.

Thanks

If Web access is enabled on the phone, you can click on the IP address of the phone, then Network, scroll down to locate the IP Address of the CDP neighbor and switchport, then log into the switch and issue "sho power inline <switchport/#>

#sho pow inline g1/0/24
Interface Admin Oper Power Device Class Max
                            (Watts)
--------- ------ ---------- ------- ------------------- ----- ----
Gi1/0/24 auto on 12.0 IP Phone 7965 3 30.0

Interface AdminPowerMax AdminConsumption
             (Watts) (Watts)
---------- --------------- --------------------

Gi1/0/24 30.0 30.0

Or, show power inline and you will see something like this:

#sho pow in

Module Available Used Remaining
          (Watts) (Watts) (Watts)
------ --------- -------- ---------

Is there any way to query from the phone if it's using POE or a power cube?

Thanks
