Hi all, I can confirm that the only way to obtain a bootable iso of
9.1.1.10000-11 is via PUT with a valid contract ESW+UCSS.
Also is possible download the ISO Upgrade file from Cisco CCO and make it
Bootable using free CD tools, but the Bootable ISO obtained with this
procedure is Unusable and Unstable, the installation seem end correctly, but
some core components are not installed, so unusable also in LAB environment.
Don't waste your time and use PUT if you need a working bootable ISO.
Thank you all.

Thanks Chris,
Yes indeed:
CSCud91310 CUCM Install Guide needs to mention upgrade during install
restrictions
Upgrade with install to later (major.minor) version is now blocked.

I think Ryan confirmed this a month or so ago on this mailer. The change was
made in the 8.5 and 8.6 time frame to only allow upgrade during installs
within the same minor version. So 9.1.1 -> 9.1.1a is good, but 9.0.1 ->
9.1.1 is no good.

I'm not aware of anything preventing this path. Can you say more about what
was attempted, where the media was sourced, what troubleshooting was done?

Wes

Yes, is correct Van.
Is NOT possible use Bootable 9.0 CUCM and use the Patch/Upgrade procedure to
go on 9.1.1.10000-11. After some time, the procedure stop with error of
"Incompatible version upgrade".
So, what can we do?
I need to ask Cisco if exist a Bootble version of 9.1.1.10000-11?
Thank you.

Alessandro

I found recently this won't work with CUCM 9.0.

Hi Alice,
You can install from the 9.0 bootable image and tell it to look for a
patch/upgrade as part of the install.

Hi all,
I need to add a second SUB on a production Cluster composed of1 PUB + 1
SUB that are in version 9.1.1.10000-11.
But I don't have bootable ISO of 9.1.1.10000-11, because the cluster was
upgraded from 9.0 version.
What Can I do?
Thank you for the answer
